Meet the Team: Raven Cashen
Raven Cashen
Raven Cashen is an avid skier, climber, and wilderness EMT based in Telluride, CO. She grew up in southeast Alaska following her father, Steve Cashen, around hiking, backpacking, car camping, skiing, and learning to climb on their home rock wall. Raven graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2013 with a B.A. in International Studies and has traveled abroad in Greece, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, and Japan. She has multiple ski ascents of standard Cascade volcano routes: south side of Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, and the North Ridge of Mt. Baker. Her inherited passion for climbing vertical ice has taken her to Ice Climbing Festivals in Wyoming, Montana, Michigan, and Colorado while ski mountaineering has taken her as far north as the Selkirks for the SheJumps Women’s Alpine Finishing School program in the Spring of 2019. Her home base of Telluride, CO allows for her to continue building a life as a mountain athlete and wilderness medic.
